Greg is a recent transplant from Baltimore, MD. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music from Towson University just outside of Baltimore.

While still in Baltimore, Smith performed originals and covers with rock bands and as a solo artist. In addition to his experience in the pop field, he performed in musicals (Aida, Legends, and The Two Gentlemen of Verona), weddings, and at restaurants/cafes, etc. At his peak just before he moved, he had just over 40 weekly students between his home studio and a local music store.

Once in New York, he joined the Joseph Blaise Band and began building a new student base. Greg also has a solo project called the Greg Smith Group.
