A guitarist since the age of eight, Alex has been writing and performing for close to 20 years. He currently teaches several students (varying in age from seven to 30) in his home studio
focusing on rock and folk styles with a little blues and jazz theory thrown in for explanation and to show the musical roots of the material.

As a student, Alex has studied with Richard Lloyd of Television, Chris Haskett of The Rollins Band, Tony Salvatore of Betty, and Stephen Ulrich of Big Lazy. Like many who fall in love with the guitar, Sniderman considers himself a perpetual student of the instrument, and enjoys the process of learning and perfecting his technique as a player, performer, and teacher.
